GENERAL CARE INFORMATION
We take every care when packaging our furniture for it’s onward journey to your home. However, when first unpacking, you may notice some packing indentations in the fabric/leather. Usually, these will disappear with use or may simply require smoothing by hand or a clean, dry cloth to bring the pile back up/remove any creases.
- 1. We recommend you re-dress your furniture on a regular basis by plumping up the cushions after use and giving it a light vacuum with a soft brush attachment, to prevent a build-up of dust.
- 2. Avoid direct sunlight, as this could cause some fading.
- 3. Avoid sitting on the arms as they are not designed to carry weight.
- 4. Keep at least 1mtr away from direct heat sources such as radiators and never near an open fire.Excepteur sint occaecat cupidatat non proident, sunt in culpa qui officia deserunt mollit anim id est laborum.
- 5. Some medications may come with unwanted personal side effects which can cause a person to perspire more than normal. Skin contact with fabric and leather upholstery can cause premature wear or discolouration. To maintain the condition of your furniture, protective treatments or cleaning may need to be applied more frequently.
LEATHER SOFAS
Leather is a natural material where imperfections such as colour, grain variations and unique markings may be apparent. These are natural characteristics of hide and they should not be seen as imperfections or faults.
- 1. Vacuum regularly with a soft brush attachment to remove excess dust.
- 2. After vacuuming, wipe with a slightly damp cloth.
- 3. Only use cleaning products recommended by your retailer. Never use household detergents/liquids as these could cause discolouration/colour loss.
- 4. Soak up any spillages by dabbing with a clean, dry cloth, then use a cloth dampened with just water to remove any residue without rubbing the leather.Excepteur sint occaecat cupidatat non proident, sunt in culpa qui officia deserunt mollit anim id est laborum.
FABRIC SOFAS
All of our fabrics have been chosen for their durability for upholstery use and all confirm to current Government legislation with regard to the Furniture & Furnishings (Fire Safety) Regulations 1988/1989,1993 and 2010.
- 1. Vacuum regularly with a soft brush attachment to remove excess dust.
- 2. Some small loose fibres woven into the fabric during manufacture, can cause fabrics to pill (small balls appearing on the surface), these should not be seen as a defect but as a characteristic of the fabric.
- 3. Some pile fabrics can become flattened during normal use. The pile can usually be restored during the vacuuming process, if not, a qualified upholstery technician could do this for you.
- 4. We recommend that you use only a qualified, professional cleaning company to clean your upholstery.Excepteur sint occaecat cupidatat non proident, sunt in culpa qui officia deserunt mollit anim id est laborum.
